Clear Glass
This is the type of glass consumers think of, when they think of glass. There is no tint or additives put into this product to make it anything but transparent.
Clear glass also is otherwise known as clear float. The visible light transmittance values for clear float glass vary with the product thickness – typically around 90% VLT for 3mm thickness, down to 80% VLT for 19mm thickness.
The thickness ranges from 2 – 19mm. Clear float can be processed into heat strengthened, toughened, laminated and coated glass, and combines to form laminated glass and insulating glass units.
Toughened Glass / Tempered Glass
Tempered Glass is about four times stronger than “ordinary,” or annealed, glass. And unlike annealed glass, which can shatter into jagged shards when broken, tempered glass fractures into small, relatively harmless pieces. As a result, tempered glass is used in those environments where human safety is an issue
Toughened Laminated Glass
This kind of glass is made to order and custom made. If you are afraid of vandalism this glass ensure that any broken shards of glass stick to the interlayer and acts as a deterrent which in turn slows down the burglars. Standard 6.38mm laminated glass will provide minimum protection, but 7.5mm and 11.5mm provide greater protection. Tint options also apply to laminated glass such as Clear, Grey, Grey, Translucent.
Toughened Safety Glass
This type of glass is otherwise known as tempered glass. Toughed glass is up to five times stronger than regular glass. This process makes it tougher and up to 400% or 500% more resistant to heat and shock than ordinary glass.
The aim of toughening process is to primarily improve the structural durability and thermal strength of the glass. Toughened glass is specially treated so that it will break into small, blunt pieces under pressure, making it much safer than shards of normal glass.

Mirror Glass
The most common safety mirror is Vinyl Back Safety Mirror. It provides protection in the event of breakage as fragments do not fall. Mirror Glass is most commonly used in entry’s and bedrooms.

Low E Glass
Low E Glass involves a transparent coating that is applied to the inside of a Double-Glazed Unit to increase thermal performance. This makes the house warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer.
