Its rather important to consider the type of glazing. For example, standard double glazing retains much more heat in a room during winter reducing heat loss & saving energy. This saves on power that otherwise would be needed from heat pumps etc. Single glazing is a good option but is more suited to an outdoor area or somewhere where there isn’t much heat retention needed. Double glazing also helps to reduce noises into rooms and helps window condensation. There are many options for glazing which includes but isn’t limited to Tint Double Glazing, Low E Double Glazing.
