Window + Doors account for more heat transfer in an insulated building than any other building component. Up to 60% reduction in heat loss can be designed into thermal windows. Designed in New Zealand and inspired by European technology, this thermal break technology is unique to Alumax. Thermal break technology is applied to the outside of your joinery so the cold has no chance of making its way near the warmth inside. Thermal break technology works better as a ‘barrier’ which results in advanced thermal performance.
We also provide the option to split colours between the interior and exterior of your home. This is among one of the many features of thermal break technology.

The system offers both generic 75mm and 100mm Shopfront, which can be centrally glazed with up to 10mm glass. However, Alumax also offer a double glazed shopfront that can carry up to 29mm glass units with New Zealand Standard appropriate glazing systems.
